I have just completed SIP 46 featuring Molly Lane of Molly & Poo. The title of the issue is "Stardust". It's a 24 page story (sort of, including blackouts), no letter column. This issue is at the printer now in production in order to get it to you on January 2. You don't have to have read the original novella, Molly & Poo, to enjoy this story, but it helps; the two go hand in hand, in a way.
Because of this, and due to unrelenting demand, I have decided to reissue Molly & Poo. A reprint will ship April 2002.
My original objections to reprinting this horrifying story in a comic book accessible to kids seems old fashioned now. TV sitcoms are racier, contain harsher language and show more skin than my little sexual horror stories. So I'm pulling the bug out of my bum and getting on with it.
Any objections should be submitted to television network programmers. It won't do you any good, but you can get it off your chest.

Thanks, Terry!
I think I am one of the few who managed to come across a copy of Molly & Poo about three years ago. I am not quite sure that I understand the story. I need to go dig it up out of my storage unit.

I dunno I am ambivalent about this...
I have never heard about his Molly or Poo except through SIP. I will probably not pick up any issues if it becomes about her instead of David, Katchoo and Francine...I want the Big 3, not other people
Then again, I am nothing if not spineless, I remember saying I would never get 43, and I did lol

Terry, as a translator, I have a question for you. When you have the issues translated, do you send them to the linguists with back issues and etc so they can have some context? Do you read them or have them read by someone to see if the meaning remains intact?
I am quite curious about this, as I plan on doing Literary Translation myself, and this would certainly fall under that category...

Thanks, Terry! I think reprinting Molly & Poo is the right decision. The covers of many comics now are far racier than M&P was. I have been afraid to ask what kind of flack you ran into back in 1997. Whatever it was, I'm glad it's been left behind. I'm looking forward to the fulfillment of your hint back in Vol. 3, #2:
"Isn't Poo the most wicked thing you've ever seen? Maybe we'll do another Poo story sometime."
